Lights on the Taconic

While driving home northbound on the Taconic Parkway at approximately 6:30 pm on January 19th, 2014 I witnessed a bright yellow light in the sky. This light began to turn red and flashed from left to right. It then turned blue and flashed from left to right. Then it became a bright white light which almost looked “bluish.” It became so bright that it was blinding and then in an instant it was gone.
